Art lovers, rejoice! Colourful murals and wall art pieces have been popping up more and more all over Barbados, adding a whole new dimension to our island's landscapes.
This list is a product of exploring these murals with the wonderful Christina Hunte of Tourist for a Day (@tourist.bb on Instagram). We compiled this list while planning our Mural Tour videos (check them out here and here on TikTok!). Be sure to follow her on Instagram for even more fun things to do in Barbados.
Think of this list as your guide to finding murals around Barbados. Here’s an idea - why not turn it into a weekend adventure? Pack up the car, grab your crew, and see how many murals you can spot across the island. It's an island drive with a fun spin for sure!
This does not include all murals in Barbados, as some are on private property. Some of the murals listed are located at schools and businesses and may be seen from the road. Please do NOT trespass on others' properties!
As a note, this article should be considered a continual work in progress, as another new mural is sure to pop up here and there. However, I do try to keep it updated as much as I can! I have also tried to include the artists’ names where I can, however I do not know all of their names.
